Prazivec is a newly registered paste for the treatment of the most important equine parasites. Worms targeted include- Ascarids, bots, hairworms, intestinal threadworms, large mouth stomach worms, lungworms, neck threadworms, pinworms, tapeworms and also skin lesions. Developed in Australia by veterinarians it contains 18.7mg/g ivermectin and 140 mg/g praziquantal in a 6.42 g syringe. Its ingredients are well known for their safety and efficacy for horses of all ages including pregnant mares, their foals, stallions, companion and riding horses. Palatability is enhanced by the addition of food grade apple flavouring. The paste is very easy to use as it becomes liquid on agitation which allows for easier administration. and it is also a low dose wormer with a small syringe, designed to fit easily in the hand, with a wing that assists administration.
